These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Librix mobile application and related services (the "App"). By downloading, accessing, or using Librix, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Using Librix
Librix lets you catalog books you own, save notes and bookmarks, track reading goals, share a library with family members, and swap or donate books with other readers. You must be at least 13 years old to use the App, and you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
2. Your Content
You retain ownership of the notes, reviews, ratings, and other content you add to Librix ("Your Content"). By posting Your Content within shared or community features (such as family libraries or swap/donation listings), you allow other relevant users to view that content as intended by the feature. You are solely responsible for Your Content and must not post anything unlawful, infringing, or abusive.
3. Family Sharing
Family groups allow multiple accounts to share visibility into a common library. By joining a family group, you consent to sharing the library and reading activity described in our Privacy Policy with other members of that group. Any member who creates a family group is responsible for managing who has access to it.
4. Book Swap & Donation Community
Librix may allow you to list books for swap or donation and to arrange exchanges with other readers or organizations. Librix is not a party to these exchanges and does not guarantee the condition, delivery, or outcome of any swap or donation. You agree to interact respectfully and lawfully with other users and any receiving organizations.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the App, including by attempting to access it using a method other than the interface we provide, interfering with its normal operation, or using it to harass, defraud, or harm other users.
6. Intellectual Property
The Librix name, logo, and App design are owned by us and may not be used without our permission. Book cover images and metadata displayed in the App may belong to their respective publishers and rights holders and are used to help you catalog books you own.
7. Availability & Changes
We may update, modify, or discontinue features of the App at any time. We aim to give reasonable notice of significant changes but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability of the App.
8. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
Librix is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Librix and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including issues arising from book swaps or donations arranged between users.
9. Termination
You may stop using Librix and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the App for users who violate these Terms.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
